Day 1
Arrival & Opening
The first day is dedicated to arrival, both into Intaaya and into the inner space of the retreat.
Participants are welcomed and gently guided to settle into the natural rhythm of the sanctuary, allowing the journey from the outside world to soften. An introduction to the retreat container and environment creates a shared understanding of the space we are entering together.
In the opening session, the monastic sangha offers a first connection to the lineage, setting the tone for the days ahead.
Through group intention setting and a grounding practice, participants begin to attune to the field of practice, establishing presence, receptivity, and a stable foundation for the journey to unfold.
Day 2
Preparation & Foundation
The second day begins with Hatha Vajra Yoga, preparing the body through precise movement, breath, and awareness.
This embodied foundation supports the subtle work of the practice and opens the system for deeper receptivity. The morning continues with teachings from the lama and guided meditation, offering insight into the nature of mind and the path of practice.
As the sand mandala begins to take form, participants witness the unfolding of a sacred process, connecting to the symbolic and energetic dimensions of the Medicine Buddha tradition.
Through moments of reflection and integration, the day invites a gentle alignment of body and mind, establishing clarity, stability, and readiness for the journey ahead.
Day 3
Deepening Practice
The third day invites a deepening into the inner landscape through subtle body yoga and breathwork, refining awareness and sensitivity to the flow of energy.
Continued teachings and guided meditation support a more intimate understanding of the practice, allowing insights to arise from direct experience.
As the sand mandala continues to develop, participants remain connected to its unfolding presence, witnessing the precision and devotion embedded in each gesture. Periods of quiet integration offer space to rest, reflect, and assimilate the process.
The day supports a deepening inner engagement, where practice becomes more personal, grounded, and alive.
Day 4
Empowerment & Ritual
The forth day centers on preparation for empowerment, inviting participants to refine intention and deepen receptivity.
Through guidance and meditation, the ground is prepared for direct encounter with the Medicine Buddha tradition. The empowerment ceremony becomes a pivotal moment, opening the doorway into the mandala through transmission and sacred connection.
This is followed by a fire puja and meditation, integrating the symbolic and energetic dimensions of the practice. Periods of silence support a gentle assimilation of the experience, allowing its depth to settle within.
The day marks a direct entry into the mandala, where transmission becomes personal and alive.
Day 5
Integration & Embodiment
The fifth day is dedicated to integration, supporting the stabilization and embodiment of the experiences received.
The day begins with integration-focused yoga, allowing the body to gently process and anchor the inner shifts. Teachings and meditation continue to deepen understanding, offering clarity and space for insight to settle.
With the completion and dissolution of the sand mandala, participants witness the essence of impermanence and release. This powerful moment is held within a shared field of awareness, followed by group dialogue and a gong ceremony that supports collective integration.
The day invites a grounded embodiment of the practice, where insight begins to live through experience.
Day 6
Closure & Continuity
The final day offers a gentle closing of the retreat, beginning with yoga and meditation to integrate the journey within body and mind.
Final teachings provide guidance on sustaining the practice beyond the retreat, offering clarity for the path ahead.
In a shared space of reflection, participants gather to integrate their experience and acknowledge the transformation that has unfolded. As the retreat comes to completion, the focus turns toward carrying the essence of the practice into daily life.
Departure becomes a conscious transition, where the connection to the Medicine Buddha path continues to live and evolve beyond Intaaya.

About the Practise: MEDICINE BUDDHA PRACTICE - Healing as a Living Path
The Medicine Buddha practice is a Vajrayana mandala path centered on healing and transformation.

Through this process, participants engage in the transformation of perception, the purification of inner obscurations, and the cultivation of compassion and wisdom.
