Elemental Presence
A 5-night intimate retreat of somatic practice, yoga, ceremony, nature immersion and deep rest in Intaaya’s private cliffside sanctuary.
You have been carrying a lot, for a long time. Here, you can finally set it down.
Five days to slow down, reconnect with your body and restore clarity through movement, somatic practice, ceremony, nature and rest. A space to step away from constant doing and return to a more grounded, connected way of being.
Not a break from your life. A return to yourself.
Mother of Intaaya
For more than 18 years, I have explored what helps us live with greater clarity, presence and connection, through embodiment, contemplative practice, architecture, hospitality and family life.
I shaped Elemental Presence as a journey of return: to the body, to nature, to community and to your own inner knowing. I hold this journey with you, alongside our facilitator team.
I look forward to welcoming you.
Who This Is For
The One Who Keeps Going – you have been running on capacity for too long and your body is asking for a pause.
The Seeker – you are curious about somatic work, breath and ceremony, and open to meeting yourself in new ways.
The Nature Lover – you feel most like yourself near the ocean, the earth and open sky, and want to take that feeling home.

Our philosophy
A Sanctuary of Transformation and Reconnection
We are cultivating a living, immersive and conscious sanctuary where the boundaries between nature and self dissolve, giving rise to profound transformation.
Nestled on the edge of Nusa Penida's breathtaking cliffs, Intaaya is a sacred space that invites guests to reconnect with the primal forces of nature, uncover their soul's purpose, and ignite their true potential.
This is a place where the spirit of the land and the rhythm of the ocean guide our journey towards healing and renewal.
The Place
Nusa Penida, Bali. A Gateway to Inner Peace
Our retreat is located on the sacred island of Nusa Penida, just off the coast of Bali.
This remote sanctuary is known for its untouched landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and powerful natural presence, offering space for rest, reflection, and reconnection.
Far from crowds, Intaaya provides privacy, tranquility, and access to pristine beaches, hidden paths, and soulful local culture, creating ideal conditions for deep immersion and renewa
Sacred Comfort
Artisanal Tents Crafted for Comfort

Nourishment
Rooted in Taste. Sustainable Farm-to-Table Cuisine
Experience a locavore journey at Intaaya’s exclusive Shell Restaurant, offering plant-based, farm-to-table cuisine in an award-winning architectural setting by Pablo Luna.
Dishes are created from seasonal produce grown at our nearby permaculture farm, moving directly from soil to plate.
Upon request, responsibly sourced catch of the day from a local fisherman is also available, supporting the surrounding community while honoring sustainability.
Sustainibility
In Harmony with Earth
At Intaaya, sustainability guides every decision, from design to daily living. Built on the cliffs of Nusa Penida using rammed earth, bamboo, and reclaimed materials, the retreat is designed for low impact and harmony with the land.
Water and waste are consciously managed, energy use is minimized, and food is sourced locally with a seasonal, plant-forward focus.
Close collaboration with the local community ensures respect for both nature and culture.
